Founded as Steigenberger Reservation System back in 1970 Worldhotels is a hotel group for independent and individual hotels. The most hotels are privately owned and do not belong to one of the major chains. Some Hotel Groups have left Worldhotels some time ago (e.g. Pan Pacific).
