Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport
Busses brought us from back to Phoenix Airport from the Dessert Botanic Garden, where the meeting with the US Airways People was held.
Security took a couple of minutes, but we let our hand luggage on the plane and only had the things we got from US Airways and of course cameras with us. At least I skipped the lounge and headed straight for the gate where our plane was waiting for us.
The group who went to the Lufthansa Training Center was already there and their event was great as well and there were really looking like children, who got a special gift.
The plane filled with the remaining flyertalkers and soon enough it was time to leave sunny and warm Phoenix.

The crew welcomed us back on board. The safety video was shown again, this time without any incident.
We were pushed back behind schedule at 12:05 and taxied for the runway and took off 15 minutes later and headed in northern direction to Seattle and Paine Field.
I think there was some Champagne left and it was offered. I skipped this offer and had only sparkling water. Yep, I know there was other stuff available unlike on any commercial domestic flight but this does not mean I had to take everything offered.
Another meal was offered and it was this time again a Burger with a salad.
At a certain point during the flight, the rear galley was some sort of open bar where quite a few onboard queued for drinks. A bit annoying for those of us, who were sitting in this part of the flight, but on this flight I did not really care about out it.
Later in the flight the raffle drawing was done and the main price – an iPad – was won by the copilot of this flight.
As we had begun our approach into PAE a pillow fight started. In the end all pillows ended in first class. And also one of the flight attendants became a victim of us – however one of her colleague convinced us to throw the pillows on her.
Due to the bad weather conditions we were not allowed for a fly over in PAE. We still were delayed as we touched down at 14:55 and headed for our parking position, where we arrived at 15:09. Funny enough, they were unable to attach the stairs to the back door, so all of us had to use the front door.
It was quite interesting to touch down in PAE and see all the 747-200 fright planes parking there among a few other wide bodies.
